Ruth Marie Zenor

    Ruth Marie Zenor passed peacefully into the everlasting arms of Jesus on May 28, 2024 at 84 years of age. Marie was born in Stotts City, Missouri on May 3, 1940, to Julius and Helen Jones.
    Marie grew up on her parent’s dairy farm and loved taking care of their animals. She met and married Hughes Zenor in Tulsa, Oklahoma On Jan. 1, 1960, and moved to Houston, Tx.
where Hughes became a Methodist Minister. Together Hughes and Marie served in ministry in in Oklahoma and Texas for 35 years. Marie worked as an insurance under writer, and worked
for social services helping the people of her community. When Marie was not working, she led bible studies, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and discipled many young
adults and children. Marie enjoyed riding her bike, working in her flower beds, sewing, swimming, traveling with her husband in their fifth wheel, and spending time with family.
    Marie is survived by her sister, Suzanne Hayward, of
Brownfield, three children, Jullie Fugitt of Richland, Wa., Kathleen Wrobleske of Hockley, Tx., and Becky Tidwell and her husband Kirk of Lamesa, Tx. Ten grandchildren; Doug Feagin of Houston, Tx., Todd Feagin of Richland, Wa., Gretchen Hey, of Richland, Wa., Roy Hey, of Richland, Wa., Luke Christansen, of
Richland, Wa., Rachel Hall, of Waco, Tx., Blaze Wrobleske, of Hockley, Tx., Rebekah Bishop, of Houston, Tx., Wyatt Tidwell, of
Lamesa, Tx., and Garrett Tidwell, Lamesa, Tx. And soon to be nine great grandchildren.
    Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Hughes, her
parents, Julius and Helen Jones of Missouri, and her brother, Darrell Jones, of Missouri.
    Graveside and Celebration of Life Services will be held at Forrest Park Lawndale in Houston, Tx. On June 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
    The family would like to extend their gratitude to the
employees of The Bee Hive Home in Lamesa for all of their love, attention, and care that they showed Marie over the last four years, to Home Hospice for their care and comfort, and to the
men and women who came every Friday and Sunday to play the piano and sing church hymns with the residents.
