Mesa Underground Water Conservation District members took less than 20 minutes Wednesday morning for them to approve well permits, make an amendment to the 2024-2025 budget and hear an update on the finances.Board members amended the current budget to move $2,500 from designated election costs into budgets for maintenance, office supplies and insurance.The district didn’t have to spend the funds on election costs since the board canceled the March 5 election for two uncontested races.Kevin Furlow stepped into the district’s Precinct 3 seat after Al Crisp resigned from office last year.
