Based on their regional qualifying times, there’s a good chance that area athletes will be bringing home medals Saturday evening from the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 1A State Track Meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.All three of Klondike’s relay teams will be running at state Saturday with the Cougars’ 800-meter relay being the second fastest regional qualifying after running a 1:32.62 at the Region I-IA Track Meet.
