High school track wild cards have provided good news again this week for the Klondike Cougars and Sands Mustangs.The top two finishers in each of the events at regional track automatically earn a state meet berth.Wild card berths go to the athletes with the next best times or distances outside of the four region’s bronze medalists.Klondike Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid and Sands Coach Tye Keith are both big fans of high school track’s wild card.
