A group of South Elementary School first graders stare in awe as they safely view the partial solar eclipse that arrived overhead early Monday afternoon. They utilized the special glasses teachers gave them to view the moon as it passed in front of the sun. After they got a peek, second graders were escorted onto the basketball court to also witness the astronomical phenomenon.
