A 20-year-old man, fleeing from Lamesa Police Department (LPD) officers in a BMW vehicle, didn’t get far.The vehicle’s driver, Salvador Espinoza Nuno, a resident of the Midland area, was arrested Friday after police pursued him while he drove up to 120 miles per hour (MPH) through town.After the high speed pursuit ended, Nuno was booked on charges of evading arrest with a motor vehicle and possession of up to one gram of a controlled substance, according to a press release issued by LPD Chief of Police Josh Peterson.LPD officers were notified around 4:16 p.m. of a high-speed vehicle pursuit initiated ...
