After helping power the Golden Tornado basketball boys to their 16th straight playoff appearance in the Gregg Moreland Era the Lamesa High School boys are well represented on the all-District 3-3A Basketball Team.Lamesa seniors Richie Dimas and Pedro Barrioz are first-team all-district honorees.Richie Dimas is a threeyear varsity player averaging eight points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.“Richie was one of our best defensive and best three-point shooters,” Coach Moreland said.Barrioz averaged 9.7 points, three rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.5 steals per game.“Pedro was a four year varsity player who was as quick as a cat.
