Mildred Groover McGee

    Mildred Groover McGee, 93, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 in Lamesa, Texas. She was born March 25, 1930, to Charles Abner Groover and Edna Mae (Deloach) Groover in Statesboro, Georgia. She was married to Kendall B. McGee Sr. She moved to Lamesa in 2008 and was a homemaker most of her life. She was content to live amongst her children and grandchildren for the better part of the last 30 years.
    Mildred is survived by her grandson, Jacques Beasley, wife Felicia, great-grandson Nate and great-granddaughter Evelyn, of Minnesota, grandson Luke Lee of Houston, TX and grandson Mike Hilson, wife Traca, great- grandson Samuel of Lamesa and son-in-law, Rick Lee of Lamesa. Mildred lived a long life and is now able to join her loved ones who have gone before her. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kendall B. McGee; children Brenda Susan McGee, Cathy Kishel, Linda Lee, Chuck McGee and grandson Kendall H. McGee.
