Like many folks in this area, Lamesa Coach Trenton Jones has been battling the flu bug of his own.After staying home from teaching his Government and Economics classes during the day this past Friday, Jones made the trip to Brownfield that evening to coach his Golden Tornado hoop girls.After the Golden Tornado girls’ big 31-24 victory over the Cubs, Jones said that he was feeling somewhat better later that night.This very important win came only a couple of nights later after the Golden Tor girls got beat 31-25 by lowly Dimmitt.
