There’s a new municipal court judge in town.City council members ended their four-month long search for a new judge Tuesday. They unanimously voted in hiring Jairo Holguin, a Big Spring practicing attorney, to the job.Holguin replaces former Municipal Court Judge Leticia Dimas, who retired last October after two decades on the bench.Holguin is expected to begin his new job this Thursday.Holguin was one of about five candidates applying for the job.
