The Golden Tornadoes girls basketball squad was dealt its third straight District 3-3A defeat Friday evening at Littlefield but Lamesa Coach Trenton Jones didn’t come home all that disappointed.In fact, Jones was far from it.“After playing everybody in our district, really we’re the best team that we’ve seen. In our last three games, we beat ourselves more than anything,” Jones said.“Tonight our defense was out of the world. We didn’t let their offense score at all in the fourth quarter.
