The Christmas season is going to be a little different this year for staff at the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office and the constable’s office.For the first time, law enforcement personnel are putting on a Santa and Elves program for kids from newborn up to age 14.The celebration takes place from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., Dec. 12 in the Dawson County Elections Office, located across the street from the county courthouse building at 116 Austin Ave. There will be cookies and a hot cocoa bar, along with visits from Santa and his elves.There will also be door prizes, along with ...
