The cost of attending a showing at Movieland Theater went up $1.Ticket prices increased across the board in response to higher film costs and a remodeling project that revamped one of the theater’s two screens.That remodel included the installation of recliners in screening room No. 2. The auditorium received new seating, a new surround sound system and a laser projector; and new carpet.Ticket prices are now $9 for the first three front row electric recliners, $8 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 and under. Matinee shows also went up from $5 to $6.“Everything went up by a dollar.
