Staff at the Dawson County Public Library are asking the public for recyclable items they can use for the Babygarten program.Babygarten is open to parents of newborns up to 24-month-old toddlers. The sessions, starting Sept. 7, are held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.What library staff needs are bottle tops, small water bottles with lids, oatmeal containers, Pringle containers, and round plastic lids such as Cool Whip tops.The items will be used during the Thursday morning sessions for art and activity learning lessons.Donors can take their contributions to the library at 511 N. 3rd Street.
