Helping signal the beginning of another busy sports year, the Golden Tornado Booster Club’s annual, Meet the Tors, will be this Thursday starting at 5 p.m. at Golden Tor Stadium.Meet the Tors will recognize all fall sports: football, volleyball, cross country, tennis and cheerleaders.Meal deals, which include hamburgers, chips, desert and drinks, will be sold for eight dollars each.Thursday’s Meet the Tors will be held in conjunction with this week’s second and final scrimmage which will match the home team against the Stanton Buffaloes.The Golden Tors will kick off their 2023 season Friday, August 25.
