SLATON – The Slaton Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) received an update on the mural project for the SEDCO building during its monthly meeting June 15.Board member Judy Thomas said she received an email from the prospective artist, who has made an offer that if the board moves up the budget from $4,000 to $5,000, she would add an additional $2,000 from a grant she had.
