Hospital board meets Tuesday

    Directors of the Dawson County Hospital District have a light slate of business to handle during their regular meeting Tuesday.
    The only new items of business on the agenda are to elect new board officers – chairman, vice chairman, and secretary – and for board members to complete their annual conflict of interest questionnaire, statement of confidentiality, and disclosure forms.
    A closed executive session is scheduled to allow the board to visit with Chief Executive Officer Freddy Olivarez regarding personnel.
    Regular items of business include financial reports from Colby Reeves, chief financial officer, and various other reports.
    Earlier Tuesday, board members are slated to convene in a special called meeting at 2 p.m. for a board education program presented by Craig Carter, the district’s attorney with the firm of Jackson & Carter, PLLC.
