Opening day for the municipal swimming pool is just going to have to wait a little longer.City officials had tentatively set Monday as the pool’s first day of operation. However, they’ve had to delay the pool’s opening for the summer while waiting for the delivery of maintenance supplies.“We’re waiting on shipping of supplies for maintenance,” said Irma Ramirez, city personnel director.Officials are now hoping to have the pool to be ready for swimmers on Wednesday.When the pool is open, hours will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
