Howard College Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) students and their instructor celebrate the end of their classroom experience Wednesday. Irene Ubeda, Crystal Alvarez; teacher Bel Rodriguez, Jaleigh Gonzales, Ashley DeLosSantos and Debbie Gonzales recognized the end of weeks of classroom instruction before beginning 40 hours of clinical work in a Big Spring Center for Skilled Care in Big Spring. CNAs are required to do 100 hours of lectures and clinical work before graduating from the four-week program. The college’s next CNA class is scheduled for August or September.
