After proving herself as one of the top high school softball players in the state, Lamesa’s Jadeyn Merrill was somewhat nervous moving to the collegiate level.Adding to her tension was the fact that she would be playing 1,800 miles from Lamesa at Rider University at Laurenceville, N.J.But it’s not taking Merrill, a 2022 graduate of Lamesa High School, long to adjust.Merrill has been selected to the all-conference team in NCAA Division 1’s Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
