Sands’ all-everything hoopster Elysa Martinez will be making the first of her two all-star appearances 5 p.m. Thursday in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ small school division all-star game at St. Mary University’s Taylor Fieldhouse at San Antonio.There’ll be two all-star girls games which are part of the TABC’s annual convention held each May in the Alamo City.
