Bibi Minjarez

    Celebration of life for Lobelia “Bibi” Minjarez, 50, of Lamesa will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Northridge Methodist Church with Pastor Jeremiah Aguayo officiating. A burial will follow in Dawson County Cemetery under the direction and care of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Viewing will begin Monday, May 15, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Inspirational service will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
    Bibi gained her wings Thursday, May 11, 2023, surrounded by her family.
    She was born December 29, 1972, in Lamesa to Larry and Louisa (Hernandez) Villarreal. She was a 1991 graduate of Lamesa High School. She married Ricky Minjarez in 1994 and had two beautiful children, Lynzy and Ethan, whom she adored with all her heart. She loved her grandchildren, and they were her pride and joy. She would always welcome you with a warm hug and her beautiful smile.
    Bibi touched many lives with her caring heart, loving soul, and sense of humor. She welcomed anyone and everyone into her home, she loved cooking and shared many recipes. She was a beloved babysitter to many children and embraced them all as her own.
     Bibi is survived by her daughter, Lynzy Minjarez and husband, Orlando Estrada; son, Ethan Minjarez and girlfriend, Taylor Franco; grandchildren, Maddie Estrada, Myla Estrada and Madden Estrada; father, Larry Villarreal of Lamesa; sister, Lucinda Cortez and husband, John of Lamesa; brother, Luvin Villarreal and wife, Elissa of Fort Worth; nieces, Danika Barrientes and Catherine Villarreal; nephew, Victor Villarreal; and many family and friends that cared for her deeply. 
    She is preceded in death by her mother whom she missed so much and welcomed her with open arms, and John Lucio a very special friend.
