Prison earns high marks

The Preston E. Smith Prison Unit of the state prison system came out of a three-day full audit this week with straight A’s on its report card.Three out-of-state auditors began on Monday reviewing the prison’s documentation, departments and its facilities.“The units have to have an accreditation.
