Five Lamesa High School girl athletes competed in the Region I-3A Track & Field Championships last Friday and Saturday at Abilene.“All five represented our school with class in a very competitive Region I track meet,” Lamesa Coach Rose Mary McCall said.Junior Reagan Derington finished fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.32 and placed eighth in the long jump at 16 feet 10 and one half inches.“Reagan ran an outstanding race against some of the best 100 meter runners in the state of Texas,” Mc-Call said.Junior Fashaa Edwards saw her meet cut short by an injury.“Fashaa is ...
