Lamesa Middle School Band students made some noise after returning home with top awards in a twoday contest in Abernathy’s Band Festival last week.The middle school’s Golden Tornado Symphonic Band received Superior ratings in both concert and sight reading performances Thursday.A superior rating is the highest grade the band students can achieve.
