Five Golden Tornado track girls will be running at the Region I-3A Track & Field Championships this weekend at Abilene Christian University.They are advancing after finishing among the top four in their events at the area track meet last Friday in Denver City. Lamesa finished second overall as a team at that meet with 72 points.Qualifying for regionals are Fashaa Edwards, Reagan Derington, Madison Derington, Averie Crittendon and Alazie Rosales.Edwards placed first in the long jump, at 17-6 ¾, and the high jump, at four feet eight inches.
