An upcoming Lamesa High School graduate and three other students at the Lamesa campus of Howard College were recently recognized for their academic achievements.Students were recognized with awards during the annual Evening of Excellence on the college’s Big Spring campus.Shiv Bhakta, a dual credit student, will earn his associate’s degree from Howard College’s Lamesa campus before graduating from LHS next month.He received the college’s Presidential Award for Outstanding Student of the Year from the Lamesa campus.
