Due to the high winds both local and area sluggers got unexpected evenings off Tuesday.Lamesa High School’s softball and baseball teams were scheduled to take on the Littlefield Wildcats.“Obviously our kids have played in a lot of wind in the past, but today’s wind made for some really tough playing conditions,” Golden Tornado Athletic Director Gregg Moreland said.After Tuesday’s postponement, the Golden Tornadoes made up those games against Littlefield Wednesday with at Littlefield and the softball here at Joe Spikes Field.
