The Lamesa Independent School District has a new chief financial officer.Ron McBee introduced himself to school board members Tuesday. He replaces Dr. Gregory Nelson, who has been moved to the position of director of human resources for the school.The district hired Dr. Nelson last December as CFO to replace Liz Oaks.Oaks spent almost five years here until leaving the job to take up a similar post in a larger school district.McBee said he heard about the job opening from a fellow church member who works for the school district.“Did a very good interview and I knew this was the place ...
