Top academic standouts from Texas Tech’s Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources were recognized as Dean’s Scholars on Feb. 24 at the academic unit’s historic Dairy Barn.Among those receiving Silver Award Scholarships was Briley Beck, a senior animal science major from Lamesa. A 2020 graduate of Klondike High School, Briley is the son of Brian and Crystal Beck.The Silver Award scholarship totals $9,600 ($2,400 per year for four years) and requires a minimum SAT score of 1,340 or ACT score of 30.
