A pesky defense continues paying big dividends for the Borden County basketball girls, who blew out Guthrie, 77-26, in bi-district playoff action Monday evening at Lubbock Cooper.It didn’t take the Coyote girls long to take command. Borden County, now 29-5 on the year, was up 26-7 at the end of the first quarter and 43-15 at the half.Guthrie’s girls finished their season at 1-12.“Our girls did another great job on defense again tonight.
