No action was taken by Klondike school board members last Thursday on the possibility of developing a pavilion near the school’s football field.The proposal died due to the lack of any motion by board members.That discussion was about creating a covered pavilion, with tables and other amenities, adjacent to the new concession stand at the north end of the football field.Board members approved, on a 6-0 vote, extending Principal Danielle Therwhanger’s contract through the 20242025 school year.Board President Kenny Ferguson, Therwhanger’s father, abstained on that item.A school calendar for 2023-24 also was approved by board members.That calendar has students starting ...
