Leatrice Schneider

    Funeral services for Leatrice Ann Schneider, 83, of Lamesa will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Alan Korinek officiating.
    Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Leatrice passed away February 14, 2023, in Lamesa.
    She was born on November 29, 1939, in Dawson County, Texas to Homer and Gwen (Roberts) Corbitt. She married Dennis “Blondie” Schneider September 26, 1992, in Lamesa, Texas. 
    She enjoyed gardening, reading, cross stitching and spending time with her family.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas; she loved giving ornaments and Christmas décor. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
    Leatrice is survived by her children, Aaron Winn and wife, Melissa of Clovis, New Mexico, Tammy Irwin and husband, Mike of Battle Ground, Washington, Melissa Wesley and husband, Troy of Slaton, Texas; grandchildren, Marshall (Bianca) Winn, Aarica (Blake) Smith, Reili (Evan) Delameter, Valree (Calvin) Nichols, Brittany (Sonny) Graves and Katlyn (Austin) Ammons; and seven great grandchildren. 
    The family would like to thank Gloria Vasquez for the love she gave their mother. 
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis Schneider; and sister Rosemary Bingham.
