Members of the Sands FFA chapter at Ackerly did well this past weekend with their projects in agriculture mechanics competition at the San Angelo Livestock Show & Rodeo.All six projects exhibited last Friday received blue ribbons, which means “A” quality work in that type of competition.The final results announced Saturday had Mitchell Snell, a fifth grader, placing first in Class 304 for shop tables with a 2’x3’ fabrication table.Haiden Wiley, a junior, placed fourth in Class 503 for outdoor metal furniture with an outdoor patio bar which she made.Other students receiving blue ribbons at the contest were Chase Goolsby, Kolby ...
