Dawson County Sheriff Matt Hogg said he is tired of being blamed for a problem that has existed long before he took office and over which he has little control.That problem is the county jail overcrowding situation, which is forcing him to turn away prisoners and causing the county to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to house inmates elsewhere.“I’m fed up,” Hogg told the Dawson County Commissioners Court during their regular meeting Tuesday.“This is a problem that’s been going on for decades.
