Charline Moore

    Charline Moore, 83 of Glen Rose, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at home. 
    She was born June 6, 1939 in Lamesa, Texas to Christine and Joe Whitlow. 
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne, Texas.  A private family burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne with Dr. Braden Moore, Bryce Moore, Brandt Moore, Richard Moore, Jimmy Murdock, Braxton Tatum, Danny Stout, and James Marks serving as pallbearers.
    Charline was a homemaker, office manager, and the world’s best mother. She was an example for all.  February 8th this year would have been her 65th wedding anniversary.  She never missed any activities of her sons Barry and Steve whether it was basketball, football, or baseball.  She was always there supporting.  
    She helped her husband Sammy run several successful businesses.  She retired from Kronos after running the office for 20 plus years in 2002. 
    She was of the Baptist faith and she and Sammy provided a Christian home for all the family.
    Survivors include her husband, Sammy Moore; sons, Barry Moore and wife, DeeAnn, and Steve Moore and wife, Debbie; brother, Duane Whitlow and wife, Kathie; grandchildren, Dr. Braden Moore and wife, Lauren, Bryce Moore, and Brandt Moore; great grandchildren, Jack Moore and Tennyson Grace; and other family members and many friends.
    Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Glen Rose First Methodist Church and/or Avatar Hospice Southwest in Granbury.
