    Graveside funeral services for Genevieve White, age 80, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Adams officiating. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Gonzales Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a family visitation hour from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
    Genevieve passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Lamesa, TX. 
    She was born May 26, 1942, in Lamesa. Genevieve married Weldon White on September 10, 1960.
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Ivetta Adams and her father, AJ Adams.
    Genevieve had a deep, strong faith in the Lord. She loved her family with all her heart. She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren and grand-dog Rosie. Genevieve was the cemetery administrator for over 20 years of the Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery until her retirement. She will be greatly missed by her family and community.
    Genevieve is survived by her loving family, her husband, Weldon White of Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Londa Stanley and husband, Roger Stanley of Stanton, TX., Gayle Kennedy and husband, Jay Kennedy of Cypress, TX., Tobi White of Lamesa, TX.; her grandsons, Billy Griffin and Jess of Midland, TX., and Bailey Griffin of St. George, UT; her granddaughters, Jade and Michael Joly of Hebron, CT., Joss and David Jehle of Edmond, OK,, and Shanel and Spencer Duvall of Cypress, TX.; 6 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Lloyd and Ginger Adams of California, and Allen Adams of Montana.
