SNYDER – The Snyder City Council discussed how bids for city owned properties are advertised and taken after rejecting three bids for land on College Ave.Abel Delora had a bid for four tracts with the City of Snyder at City County’s regular meeting Monday.Councilwoman Sarah Jamison told the council that she was notified that someone who wanted to bid was denied being able to because of lack of knowledge the lot was for sale.By law, the city must publish a bid notice in the local newspaper twice before bids will be closed for properties.Councilman Jerry Webb suggested that maybe looking ...
