Raising pigs for the annual Dawson County Junior Livestock Show is a little like taking care of an infant.There are early morning feedings, constant cleaning, inoculations, and outdoor strolls to get some exercise.All their efforts help get their animals ready for the this week’s threeday show which begins Thursday at the LeeRoy Colgan Fair Barn.About 70 exhibitors are expected to show more than 200 animals.The show begins at 5 p.m. Thursday with the showing of steers, lambs and goats.
