Following this past week’s tragic automobile accident in which two area teenagers lost their lives, both the Klondike Cougars and O’Donnell Eagles announced changes to their high school basketball schedule.One of the girls who died in the accident graduated from Klondike this past May. The other was a sophomore at O’Donnell. Another O’Donnell sophomore was seriously injured in that accident.Klondike cancelled their girls game against Borden County on Friday, and both boys and girls games on Saturday against Wink and Monday’s against Miles.Klondike’s girls now won’t play again until Dec. 27 in the Anson Tournament where the Cougars’ first game ...
