One person was airlifted to a Lubbock and the another transported to Medical Arts Hospital following a car-truck collision here Sunday morning.The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of N. 22nd St. and the Lubbock Hwy.Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson said a Jeep was heading eastbound on N. 22nd St. and apparently ran a read light at the intersection.The Jeep slammed into the back tires of a tractortrailer rig which had been going northbound on the Lubbock Hwy. and was turning west on N. 22nd, Peterson said.The female driver of the Jeep was transported by helicopter to ...
