Visitors to the Dawson County Public Library can cast their ballots for Miss Merry Christmas Pageant contestants starting Monday.The contestant collecting the most votes and selling the highest number of raffle ticket sales will earn the People’s Choice Award.Voters can place their ballots in boxes featuring each girl’s name and photo at the library. Voting ends Saturday, Dec. 10.“That will be the last time they can either vote or purchase a raffle ticket,” said one organizer, Melody Gonzales.Residents can purchase $1 raffle tickets from pageant contestants.
