Families needing a little help ensuring there are gifts under the Christmas tree for their children have a little over a week to apply to the Dawson County Child Welfare Board for assistance through the annual Lights of Love program.Lights of Love organizers collect new and unwrapped toys for families who qualify for the Christmas program.Dawson County families have until 5 p.m. Dec. 2 to submit their applications for the program.
