An earthquake that hit an area northwest of Pecos shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday was felt by some people here but not by others.Pecos is more than 150 miles west-southwest of Lamesa.Amberlee O’Brien, working at the Tin bucks Coffee Shop, said she felt the shaking from the quake, which registered 5.4 on the Richter scale.O’Brien was sitting at a table when she felt the tremor under her feet.
