A Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) official educated Lamesa school board members Thursday about the agency’s process in helping schools search for and hire a new superintendent.Board members took no action Thursday on which avenue to take in looking for a new superintendent. The item was on the agenda for discussion only, and was not up for any board vote.Former Superintendent Jim Knight retired from office in late September.
