It was a memorable weekend for the Klondike Cougars volleyball team.After knocking off topranked Veribest in the semifinals of the regional tournament on Friday, the Cougars advanced to state with a win over Van Horn in the finals on Saturday.“Right now, everybody’s so excited that we probably won’t realize what happened until we get down there (state),” senior middle block Bella Stevens said early this week.After making it to the regional tournament her senior year, Stevens said, their goal had been to make it further into the playoffs each year.
