SWAT team personnel from the Lamesa Police Department and the Lynn County Sheriff’s Office joined forces to serve a federal arrest warrant here last Friday.The warrant was served on Guillermo Joe Sturgeon, age 65, at his residence at 1010 N. 5th St. in Lamesa, according to a press release issued Tuesday by Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson.Sturgeon was charged in the warrant with Distribution and Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine, and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm,” Peterson reported.“Sturgeon was taken into custody without incident and transported by Lamesa Police units to Lubbock,
