Idolina Lumbreros

    A celebration of Life funeral service for Idolina H. Lumbreras, age 59, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2023 at the Faith of God in Christ Church with Pastor Reyes Carillo officiating and special guest. 
    Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Viewing and visitation will he held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Faith of God in Christ Church located at 605 N. 12th Street in Lamesa.
    Idolina passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, November 10, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. 
    She was born December 18, 1962 in Loraine, TX. Idolina married Ramiro Lumbreras on May 2, 1981 in Big Wells, TX.
    Idolina was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Hernandez and her mother, Jovita Hernandez.
    Idolina was a loving mother of five, and adoring wife to her husband, Ramiro Lumbreras, Sr. She grew up surrounded by a large family of 8 brothers and 5 sisters, whom she loved dearly.
    Idolina lived her life sharing the word of God and ministering to others about His love. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren tremendously. Her passions were cooking, singing, and serving in her beloved church and others.
    Idolina is survived by her loving family, her husband, Ramiro Lumbreras, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.; her children, Ramiro Lumbreras, Jr. and wife, Tiffany, Tabitha L. Arredondo and husband, Alexander, Susanna Lumbreras, Naomi Ledesma and husband, Isaiah, Joshua Lumbreras; 14 grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
