Carmen Robles

    Funeral services for Carmen Robles, age 70, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Templo Elim with officiating Pastors, Abel Hernandez and Lenard Hernandez. 
    Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Viewing will be Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home. Family visitation hour will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with an Inspirational service from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
    Carmen passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. 
    She was born on June 16, 1952 in Dawson County, Texas. Carmen married Santiago Robles, February 8, 1969 in Lamesa, TX.
    Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Julia Hernandez; her brothers, Macario Hernandez, Teodoro Hernandez, and Danny Hernandez; her sisters, Olivia H. Carillo; her in-laws, Maximo and Benita Robles.
    Carmen was a faithful Christian, loving wife, great Mom and best grandma. She enjoyed making tortillas for all her family. She loved her church, Templo Elim. Carmen’s home was open to everyone. 
    Carmen is survived by her loving family, her husband, Santiago Robles of Lamesa, TX.; her son, Steve Robles (Loretta) of Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Sandra Robles (Douglas), and Sonia Vara, all of Lamesa, TX.; her grandsons, Isaac Robles, William Barker, George Barker; her granddaughters, Sydnee Robles, Syrena Robles, and Iliana Robles; her brothers, Abel Hernandez (Sylvia), Ruben Hernandez (Geneva), Gilbert Hernandez, all of Lamesa, TX., and her sister, Rosie Olivo of San Antonio, TX; numerous relatives and friends.
