District 3-3A volleyball action opens this coming weekend and the Golden Tornadoes got a timely win Tuesday night at Big Spring.Lamesa went the distance before bringing home a hard-fought 25-17, 15-25, 25-23, 23-25 and 15-13 victory over the Class 4A Steers.It was the Golden Tors’ first win since Aug. 30 when they beat Tahoka. It also gave them four wins for the season, which is twice what they got last year.“Our girls were hungry.
